Haari necklaces were worn by the women of Nepal and surrounding territories as a sign of prestige and wealth. Many traded rupee for goods, and even land. In the 60’s they were produced in larger numbers as the popularity for them increased. This is a one of a kind piece for a collector, or unique one of a kind statement piece.
