1st Dibs I heart you!

Benjamin’s first cousin Brooke and her husband Boaz are visiting us from New York this week and we couldn’t be more excited to have them here! Brooke creates these lush, meaty, larger-than-life sized paintings of raw animal carcasses. Next weekend Benjamin and I will be traveling back to Atlanta to host a baby shower for our dear friends Marlis & Brad. They just adopted the most adorable baby girl and her name is Beatrize Grace; they call her Bea. I can not wait to meet her!! Marlis is one of my oldest and dearest friends - and she also happens to be one of the most talented, too! In addition to painting and illustrating she also happens to be a master at glass etching. I am looking forward to visiting her studio while we are in town and seeing her latest work. These are a some lamps she did last year - so delicate and beautiful!
